Clipbot
A personal tool that turns long videos into short vertical clips with captions, commentary and diagrams, then posts them to its owner's own YouTube channels.
Channels it posts to
- Tooltipped: new AI tools, explained in under 90 seconds.
- Recut Daily: stream and podcast moments, posted through creators' clipping programmes.
What it does with your Google account
Clipbot signs in only to the channel owner's own Google account. It uses two Google APIs:
- YouTube Data API to upload finished clips to those channels and set their titles, descriptions and tags.
- YouTube Analytics API to read views and audience retention for those clips, so future clips can be edited better.
Clipbot is not offered to anyone else, and it never reads or changes other people's channels.
